I believe there is something beautiful to be found in every object – living or otherwise. Actually, it’s more than a belief. I feel it. There are no words, but I know it. I will come back to something over and over with the feeling that I just need to find the right angle to see it fully. Sometimes it’s hidden like a closely guarded secret and I have to spend some time alone with it, gaining a trust so that the secret may be shared. Other times it seems glaringly obvious what is beautiful about something, yet I still need to spend time with it…let it calm a bit in order to discover the more subtle aspects of it’s beauty. There is a measure of grace in the form of things, in the simplicity of things, in the age of things. The words “grace” and “beauty” do not seem to do my feelings justice though, so I make images and hope the feeling is conveyed…
