Just when I thought that our mild summer was going to slip quietly into fall, we got a bit of a blast of heat for a few days.  It was as though Summer was mocking the Fall Equinox.  Then October began and Fall fought back with cooler temperatures and rain.  I managed to get some photos of late blooming flowers in my own effort to hold on to the feeling of summer just a bit longer…
