Photo of the Week #50

“Art does not reproduce the visible; rather, it makes visible.”  ~Paul Klee

How many times have you noticed something simply because a photograph or other piece of art brought it to your attention?  One great thing photography has taught me is to really notice the little things just a bit more.  I’ve always loved the details, but I’ve learned to see even more when I stop to photograph something.

Here are our latest works:

From Me:
Cantaloupe
by Jessica Rogers Photography
From Doug:
I Own a Sailboat
by Doug Armand
From Elizabeth:
Boat & Buoy
by Elizabeth Schoch
From Sue:
A Restful Place
by Sue Templin
From Anika:
Shiny Metal
by Anika Toro
Thanks so much to everyone that participated this week!

If you’d like to join the Photo of the Week project I’d love to have you along.  Read the guidelines to find out how to submit your photo for next week.  Also, if you’ve be a part of Photo of the Week or simply a fan and want to talk about it on your blog, be sure to get a Photo of the Week badge to link back to my blog.  And let me know if you do – I’d love to see those badges in action!
Have fun shooting!

These are all lovely! They all have a sort of soft quality (mine maybe less so than the others). I always enjoying coming her to see what others are doing. It's nice to be in the company of such talented, creative folks.
