Photo of the Week #32

Well, here we go with attempt number 2 – my first attempt at this post ended up all screwy and I had to scrap it!  I’m also battling a head cold, so that may have had something to do with my previous issues.  I will just leave you with our latest images and a quote from Ansel Adams before I get myself another cup of tea.

“Simply look with perceptive eyes at the world about you, and trust your own reactions and convictions.  Ask yourself: Does this subject move me to feel, think and dream?  Can I visualize a print – my own personal statement of what I feel and want to convey – from the subject before me?”

great work from everyone this week! jessica, just wondering if you know why my picture looks all pixel-y and bitmap-y? maybe it's just my computer, but it looks really really low quality.

Andrea – your photo looks fine to me – even enlarged. I didn't alter what you submitted, so maybe it's your computer somehow. That seems odd though… If you want to re-send the image I'd be happy to switch it out if you think it would help.

don't worry, i didn't think you altered it!

i've noticed with some b&w work that it looks that way on the internet, even though it looks fine in photoshop. it's probably just my computer, it has a really bright screen so that might have something to do with it :)
