The wind and trees were having a deep and long conversation, accompanied by the percussion of acorns falling like heavy raindrops, while leaves gracefully danced about.
Then, I found myself on a path shrouded in moss and fern, and the world as I knew it faded into the distance. Nature was pulling me back to her, and with a great feeling of relief through my whole being, I happily followed.
There is something about spending some time in the forest that gets my inner poet all chatty. My recent walk in the woods certainly had that effect! I think that’s part of why I get such a warm feeling when I look at my fall images – especially the ones I’ve chosen for my pillows! I love the colors and how everything takes on a new look as it all shifts through the season, from the pumpkins fresh from the patch, to the colorful falling leaves and the pop of red bittersweet berries.
