The more deeply I delve into my photography, the more I believe this simple statement to be true. I can always tell when I have begun to move too quickly though life – I am not feeling things as much as just going to the regular motions. But when I slow down a bit, take time to really look at things (objects, events, relationships…) then I begin to feel again. This is the state of being I attempt to be in more often than not, because it is a more meaningful existence. But it is a constant struggle to fight the ever quickening pace of things…
