I just love summer! This year sunflowers in particular are really shouting out to me – they simply ooze warmth and their bright yellow petals contain the essence of a lazy sunny afternoon. I don’t know how they do it.

I took these photos this last weekend near my parent’s house in the Central Valley of California. I’m thinking of adding them as part of the first wave of my TtV series in my Etsy shop. These TTVs are great. I esp. like the dark one with the sunburst, but the other bright sunflowers are super, too. I would put them on Etsy!!
